Somerset Federal Credit Union has selected this year’s recipients of our three $2,000 scholarships awarded annually to high school seniors headed to college, who share the same philosophy of the Credit Union, ‘people helping people’.
Alden Priestner was awarded the Oliver C. Perry, Jr. Scholarship honoring our past President, Oliver C. Perry, Jr., while Samuel Grew received the employee-sponsored ReachOut! Scholarship and Aaron Pires received the SFCU Scholarship.
Alden is a 2024 graduate of Westport High School. She will be attending Worcester Polytechnic Institute in the Fall, double majoring in Professional Writing & Policy Studies.
Samuel is a 2024 graduate of Somerset Berkley Regional High School. He will be attending Worcester State University in the Fall, majoring in Finance.
Aaron is also a 2024 graduate of Somerset Berkley Regional High School. In the fall, he will be attending Bryant University, pursuing a degree in Finance.
Alden, Samuel and Aaron have been recognized for their leadership and service to others both at school and in our community.
